"The key to coping with retirement planning is forward planning"

Tracey gives the low down on why the Police Mutual Retirement Centre is so useful:

It may seem a long way off, but 18 months will go in a blink of an eye. So it’s really important to start planning now. I’ve been delivering financial education courses with Police Mutual for over 15 years and we’re totally focused on helping you with the things that matter to you the most.

Attending our retirement course was a great starting point, but the support we provide does not stop there. With 18 months to go you need to revisit your action planning sheet – is there anything on the list that needs action now? Have you checked your national insurance record, is your will up-to-date, what are your pension options?

Online Retirement Centre

You can find some helpful reminders about many of the subjects we covered on the course in Police Mutual’s Online Retirement Centre. There’s even a commutation calculator and some interactive tools to help you plan ahead, so it’s definitely a good place to start.

Post Course Support

As your retirement gets nearer, we don’t just leave you to your own devices. We offer continued support and help with the ‘Keeping in Touch' service. Again it’s a really useful thing to have with loads of links, tools and in-depth articles by other members of our team.
