Housing market slows - but is still strong
Compared to figures from last year the housing mark remains strong
Though the housing market appears to be slowing, when compared to this time last year, figures show how strong it currently is.
Properties are selling in approximately 88 days now, compared to 104 days in July 2013, and is the fastest selling time recorded in seven years, according to data released by property group Move with Us.
The fastest sales were found in Greater London, where a home was sold in an average of just 43 days in the second quarter of the year.
Contrastingly, properties were sold slowest in north east England where the average selling was 138 days - still 50 days quicker than the region's figure during the same time last year.
