Founded in 1866 by a group of Police Officers determined to support the family of a fallen colleague, Police Mutual began as a simple savings scheme at a time when there was little financial support available for police families. That founding purpose remains unchanged today.
From financial education and wellbeing support to healthcare, insurance, mortgages and signposting resources for debt support, Police Mutual continues to help Police Officers, Staff and their families prepare for life’s challenges and opportunities.
As Police Mutual celebrates this significant milestone, it is reflecting on nearly 160 years of standing beside those who dedicate their lives to protecting others.
