1. The “Promoter” is PMHC Limited, trading as Police Mutual, a company incorporated in England and Wales (registered number 03018474) and having its registered office at 80 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 4BY.
  2. By entering this therapy dog soft toy incentive (the “incentive”) participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any other requirement set out in the material relating to this promotion.
  3. This incentive is only open to residents of the United Kingdom (“UK”) who meet the Eligibility Criteria (as per paragraph 4). Only one therapy dog soft toy per Eligible Discretionary Healthcare Scheme plan application. Multiple applications will be discounted. Automated, bulk or third-party applications will be disqualified.
  4. Participants who are residents of the UK must meet all the following conditions:
    1. The participant must have fully completed and submitted a paper application form for the Police Mutual Discretionary Healthcare Scheme offer: 50% discount on subscription rates for the main member for 12 months (“Eligible Discretionary Healthcare Scheme Plan’). Applications submitted for any other Healthcare Scheme Offers will not be eligible for the incentive 
    2. The participant must complete and submit the paper application form at a face-to-face event where the incentive is offered. Online or telephone applications are not eligible for the incentive. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. 
    3. The participant must be a resident of the UK at the time of entry for a Therapy Dog Soft Toy incentive

  5. An Eligible Discretionary Healthcare Scheme Plan means a paper application is taken at a face-to-face event for a Police Mutual Discretionary Healthcare Scheme Plan with scheme offer: 50% discount on subscription rates for the main member for 12 months during the Entry Window by a participant that meets the plan’s Terms and Conditions and eligibility criteria, including the minimum age requirements for the plan. The following exclusions apply: (a) existing Police Mutual Discretionary Healthcare Scheme plan holders; (b) any new policies covering the same person / person’s from a policy cancelled in the last three 3 months are excluded from this promotion.
  6. Participants must not be an employee or contractor of the Promoter or any subsidiary of the Promoter or be in any other way connected with this incentive (including relatives of any such person). 
     
  7. Participants will receive the therapy dog soft toy at the face-to-face event at the point they submit an Discretionary Healthcare Scheme Plan paper application during the Entry Window. Only one therapy dog soft toy per Discretionary Healthcare Scheme Plan paper application. Participants that purchase an Eligible Healthcare Scheme Plan and wish to opt-out of the incentive can do so in accordance with paragraph 8. 
     
  8. Opt-out: Any participant that has submitted a paper application for an Eligible Discretionary Healthcare Scheme Plan and does not want to receive the therapy dog soft toy should advise the Police Mutual representative at the point the application is submitted. 
     
  9. The incentive shall open to new entries at 12:01AM on 1st November 2023 and shall close to new entries at 11:59PM on 29th March 2024 (the “Entry Window”). 
     
  10. In the event of unforeseen circumstances making the administration of the incentive impossible or impractical, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the incentive. In the event of such cancellation participants shall be notified within 7 days of cancellation by notice being posted on the Police Mutual website healthcare page. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever as a result of cancellation of the therapy dog soft toy incentive. 
     
  11. In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your therapy dog soft toy offer, we will offer you a different gift, which will be of equal to or greater value than the one selected. 
     
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the therapy dog soft toy to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions. 
     
  13. Participants agree that the Promoter may rely on such details as are provided by participants when fulfilling the incentive. The Promoter accepts no liability or responsibility for loss of any kind arising out of or in connection with the submission of incorrect personal details provided by participants. 
     
  14. Should a court or equivalent authority deem clause 13 to be unenforceable in whole or in part, the aggregate liability of the Promoter shall under no circumstances exceed the cash value of the incentive.
  15. The Promoter may use personal details submitted by participants when taking up the incentive for the purposes of administering the therapy dog soft toy. Participants’ personal data shall be treated in confidence and processed solely in accordance with UK data protection legislation. Participants’ personal data will not be disclosed to any other third party without the explicit consent of the participants concerned. The Promoter may disclose personal or other data relating to participants of the incentive where permitted or required by law or statute, court of equivalent authority of competent jurisdiction or regulation or where the entrant or participants concerned have consented.   17. These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 
     
  18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by a participant as a result of entering this Promotion.
