What kind of Caravan Insurances are there?
Types of Insurance available:
Holiday Caravan or Lodge
This policy offers cover for your holiday static caravan or holiday lodge located in the UK and is used solely for the purposes of holiday and recreation and is not a permanent residence.
What’s covered:
- Structure sums insured
- £5m Public Liability
- New for old structures – we will consider old structures on a case by case basis
- Market value cover available
What’s not covered:
- Damage arising from escape of water between the 1st October and the 14th March, where the precautions detailed in the policy have not been adhered to
- Loss or damage caused by general wear and tear, or anything that happens gradually
- Loss or damage if the structure or any part of it, is used or let for trade or business purposes

Touring Caravan
This policy offers cover for your touring caravan for UK residents over the age of 25 years old.
What’s covered:
- High levels of cover when in use, in storage or being towed
- New for old cover up to 15 years
- £5m Public Liability when being stored
- 24hrs emergency assistance, recovery and removal
- Storm damage cover for your touring caravan and awning – awning is not covered if the caravan is not in use
What’s not covered:
- Liability for damage or injury caused when the touring caravan is being towed
- Loss or damage caused by general wear and tear, or anything that happens gradually
- Loss or damage if the structure or any part of it, is used or let for trade or business purposes
- Inability to conform with DVLA regulations
