Financial Education

Helping you take control of your financial future

Financial Education

Helping people better understand their current financial position and be more confident about their financial future, is just part of the important role we play in promoting overall wellbeing for police employees and their families.

We know that many members of the Police Service say they would value financial assistance from their employer, such as financial awareness programmes, support and guidance - and we’re keen to help.

Our free financial education classes include:

Starting or managing investments.

Protecting yourself with the right insurance.

Retirement planning and commutation.

Personal and family budgeting.

Planning for the future.

That’s why…

Around 20,000 Officers and Staff, from new recruits to those coming up to retirement, benefit from our financial education courses each year.

Our financial education courses have a positive impact on the lives of Officers and Staff, with 92% of attendees feeling better equipped to make financial decisions for their future and prompted to take action as a result.

Police Mutual internal statistics 2016.

Courses are free, last one day and are held across the country.
