Tooltip Clicking on this icon will show you a breakdown of the projection figures for each option you have chosen.

* As this is an example, you could get back more or less than this.
**  Investments into the Fixed Term option do not increase in value until the end of the fixed term. They then increase by the fixed growth rate on offer and are automatically switched into the Anytime Access option, unless you choose otherwise.  The projections above allow for this automatic switch where the Fixed Term option has been selected.

The growth rates we've used vary for each option to reflect the different levels of growth potential. For the Protected Growth and Non Guaranteed options we pay external fund managers to manage parts of the Life Fund. They manage it 'actively', that is to say they seek out the best individual stocks and bonds rather than just follow the whole market. This costs more, but we expect it will be more than covered by the additional investment performance. The growth rates we've used don't allow for this additional performance.

How your investment grows depends on:

  • How long you invest for
  • If you make any withdrawals, and when you make them
  • The performance of the underlying investments your money is invested in
  • The impact of tax
  • Our charges, which may vary

Please keep in mind that inflation will reduce what you could buy.

You can withdraw money from the options when you want, but please bear in mind that if you move all of your money out of Fixed Term and Protected Growth, other than on the guarantee points, the guarantees will not apply, and if you withdraw part of your money from Protected Growth the guarantee will reduce.
