At the end of last year, we asked you about the Police fitness test - and an incredible 1,040 of you took the time to complete our survey and tell us how you feel.
We asked whether you had taken a fitness test before and how confident you would be if you had to take a test again. You told us that 67% (701) of you would be confident of passing both elements of the test, despite many of you saying you weren't completely sure what the new dynamic strength exercise entails.
Out of the 884 that had taken some sort of fitness test before, 87% were confident that they would pass the aerobic capacity (bleep) test if they took it again. Our final question was whether you thought mental health was as important as physical fitness and a huge 93% of you thought it was.

"It's important to be mentally fit to carry out the demanding role of a Police Officer."
"A clear head is vital in making the right, lawful decision when the time comes. Stress is a major factor when working as a Police Officer and so being able to stay mentally strong helps a lot."
