Police Mutual (PMAS) congratulates the winners at Jane’s Police Review Gala Awards 2011
9 November 2011
As the principal sponsor of the 2011 Jane's Police Review Gala
Awards which took place on Thursday 3 November, Police Mutual would
like to congratulate all those involved in the event, and
especially the winners on the night. These prestigious awards
are now in their 20th year and Police Mutual is proud to
be associated with recognising and rewarding the unsung heroes of
the policing world.
Police Mutual has a long history of working with Police forces
to support those who undertake the varied, unpredictable and
frequently dangerous role of the police officer. Police
Mutual remains committed to supporting all members of the police
family throughout their careers with a range of financial services,
education and welfare support, to enable police officers and staff
to focus on their jobs with peace of mind that their financial
futures are secure.
On 3 November, 160 nominees across six award categories attended
a prestigious award ceremony hosted by BBC Breakfast's sports
presenter Chris Hollins. Stephen Mann, Chief Executive of
Police Mutual, said, 'Police Mutual is proud and honoured to have
supported the Jane's Police Review Gala Awards. Every day
members of the police service carry out a variety of challenging
roles in order to make our communities a safer place to live. I am
pleased that Police Mutual can play a small part in recognising
some tremendous examples of this and raising awareness of unsung
heroes. Our congratulations and thanks go to all the winners and
finalists, as well as to all the officers and staff who perform
these demanding roles every day without seeking any recognition for
what they do.'
