Full time temporary role between 3 to 6 months.
Do you have excellent Customer Service skills? Would you like to
play a key role in promoting the benefits of Police Mutual’s
products and services to our members? If so, we have an
opportunity in the contact centre for a motivated individual who
excels in building strong customer relationships.
The Role
The role involves:
- Helping members to learn about, understand and buy
Police Mutual products and services
- Retaining and increasing members holdings by spotting
opportunities to cross sell and raise product and eligibility
awareness
- Promote and issue Regular Savings, Term Assurance,
& Stakeholder pensions over the telephone
- Helping members with a wide range of queries on their
existing plans
- Increasing membership through relationship building &
follow up on initial enquiries
- Producing accurate quotations & letters in
response to members’ enquiries
- Telephone pre-completion of application forms when phone
issuing is not possible
- Working in a regulated environment, to include complying
with FSA regulations and meeting Training & Competence
standards
The
Individual
You will need to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer
service through telephone techniques
- A basic knowledge of the Society's products &
services with a willingness and ability to develop in depth
knowledge
- Experience in customer facing or contact centre
environment an advantage
- Initiative to identify solutions for the benefit of the
member
- Previous experience working within a regulated
environment an advantage
- Flexibility to deal with a wide range of in-depth
products & services
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- IT literacy, including good keyboard skills and knowledge
of Microsoft Office packages

The successful candidate will enjoy team working and the

performance related pay. The role deals with both inbound and
outbound calls (although not cold calling).
